Hi, I was just checking out the manual on my 2009 Band in a Box, I have the Audiophile HD version. I finally found some time to start to learn some of the features. I notice there is a New Features 2009 document but the actual BB manual is for the 2008/2008.5 version. Didn't PG music print a new manual to cover the entire program or does the New Features pdf cover the how to's for the 2009 version.
Also, one other thing is that I thought I read somewhere that there is now a Roland Synth included in 2009 that is VST. Maybe I was mistaken because I don't see it installed anywhere, but if there is something I am missing concerning this and it actually does exist can someone point me to it? Thanks. I've already got as far as generating some MIDI piano and acoustic tracks that I have brought over to Cubase to flesh out some tunes. Put Vir2 Acoustic Legends on an acoustic MIDI track and it sounds real nice after you set some note stealing preferences in Acoustic Legends to let the notes and chords ring. But as much as I like the Real Tracks acoustic guitar the flutter from the time stretching is quite bothersome. One more thing I'm going to try is to generate an acoustic track at THE recommended tempo and if it comes off flutter free then I'll try to timestretch the track myself with the few algorithms I have in Cubase and/or Melodyne. Anyway, just a few thoughts I'm dealing with concerning the program. All in all, a very helpful and fun tool. I can't wait to try out my songs in the all the different styles and see what happens.
