Actually that's what I finally did while talking with Will in your support. The first time I clicked the snowflake, however, the program locked up so I had to use "end task". Fortunately when I reopened everything was still there and then the unfreeze was successful. I did not press play before saving under a different name but the save worked so I concluded that it is not necessary to regenerate before saving. That makes sense because otherwise we would not be able to re-save a preferred performance.

I am now trying to figure out why my mp3 conversions (renderings?)show up in my BIAB folder but do not play back. Is there more information than that on page 162 of the user's guide? I must be doing something wrong but I am not yet able to figure out what. I'll look for a thread on this.

Thanks again! I continue to be amazed at the musical integrity of this program and also at how much I have to learn.
