+1, especially with the '70s tracks just released. With all the other jazz brass, I'm surprised the flute hasn't gotten much RealTrack love yet.

With some careful editing the Bossa Flute surprisingly versatile. But it doesn't scale down to slower speeds (~90 BPM) that well. Double time helps, but the vibrato at the end of the phrase sticks out. It's also got a fair number of chromatic-inflected licks that don't fit with more diatonic material.

So a jazzy solo flute designed for slower tempos would be excellent.

It would also be nice to have a "background" flute, along the lines of the "background" harmonica or fiddle.

Of course, a more "rock" flute would also be an interesting addition...
