Hi Xander - welcome the the forum.

//Also when I try and record my voice, it keeps on playing a song or style in the background, I don't know how to get rid of it so that all I record is my voice. //. You can turn off the sound from the BIAB Instruments by right clicking on "Combo" in the upper left of the main screen and selecting "Mute"

//is it possible to record yourself singing a melody and BIAB to find the chords for this melody?//. Not easily. BIAB can take a whack at this in midi. In audio, it can use the Audio Chord Wizard, but that will work poorly with a monophonic source (your voice). So I'd say no. We'll see what others say.

It looks like you are new to BIAB. I suggest you start out with the fundamentals like inputing chords, styles, melodies, etc. There are lots of great videos and good help files. Also get familiar with the differences between midi and audio. And use this forum. A lot of knowledgeable and helpful people are here to help.

Good luck
