Yes, the sounds are okay on Sibelius 6.2 but I still find it awkward (not intuitive) and working to a full score for a big band take an age. I even went to a course at our local music software supplier. The course was full of teachers and I can see why they liked it for the comparatively simplistic things they were doing. The presentation of charts etc is very good. But for arranging, I don't know. To tell the truth, I am back to using Overture 4, which for me is heaps and heaps faster.

If only all of the notation programs were as easy and fast to enter the music as is Band-in-a-Box. This is why I use BB for the first stages of an arrangement, then convert it to a midi, and open it up in Sibelius or Overture. That procedure really speeds up production time for an arrangement.
