I´m studying BIAB for a few months, and 2/4 time - very common in Brazilian music - is a mistery to me. I´m trying to write "samba" and it sounds like bossa-nova I´ve tried this experiment, creating a style from midi: - drums from a midi file, trying to play like a "pandeiro" - guitar at first from a midi file, then replacing it with RT Guitar nylon bossa (1103) As writing the song: - wrote at least two chords per bar (inserting two 2/4 bars in a 4/4 bar) - set RT instruments to double time (otherwise they wouldn´t match drums time) - soloist: RT 1374 The resulta was: http://www.box.net/shared/eghr7ttys1075u52avcvI would appreciate your comments/hints on this.
