This was mentioned by someone & I and others couldn't replicate. Now I can. If you highlight a section of track say 4 bars then generate a RT it'll generate the 4 bars but will also generate 2 bars of silence after it.If you are doing a track that already has audio on it it deletes the 2 bars after the 4 bars you just generated. Can't seem to figure this one out.

I did but was busy on a project. I'm done and will check in more detail.I opened a bunch of other tunes including the one you sent me and it's fine. Reopen the tune I was working on and it does it. Weird indeed.

Nope. I found the answer and can consistently duplicate it. Open a .wav or MP3. Then use the ACW to analyze the chords. Set bar 1 & send to RB. Now highlight a track say 4 bars and generate a RT and see what happens.

John, I think the common factor here is tempo change. I'm guessing that when you send the song back from the ACW the process is also introducing a tempo change into the song.
Try this: create a simple song from scratch and select a Realstyle. Insert a tempo change at some point in the song. Generate all BB tracks. Play it back, and everything should be fine, including the section with the tempo change. Now, select say 4 bars in one of the Realtracks and try re-generating only these 4 bars. You will find that tempos in the selected region are not followed, and also you'll see some blank measures added after the selected region.
This is a major issue that hasn't yet been fixed.

The file I was working with was an MP3 sent by a friend that he had done in Cakewalk. The whole song minus the bass. There were no tempo changes. He uses a drum machine for the drums so everything is locked solid to a single tempo. I ran through the ACW cause I wanted to be able to add some RTs as well to it. The ACW is doing something. I'll let them figure out the coding that's messed up.

I think when you set bar one in the ACW, the ACW introduces a tempo change into your song at that point. You can check this by opening the tempo map after you have sent the song back over to RB. You'll see it there if it exists. One tempo change will be enough to cause the section regeneration problem.
If you have a few minutes, try creating a simple song from scratch and introducing a tempo change per my instructions in my previous post. You'll see what I mean.

Terry, You are correct. A tempo change or even as I found out tempo info causes this to happen. When I opened the Tempo Map for the son I mentioned ther were 3 entries on the first 3 bars. They were all the same as the base tempo. After I deleted 2 of them leaving just the base tempo it works fine. So that is the issue.

I took an existing song with no Tempo changes and it was fine. Added a tempo change to the same song and it messed up. I didn't even really change the tempo just inserted the same tempo in another bar.

Interesting twist. Same tempo, inserted in the song a second time, and it gets messed up. Thanks for the additional info.

Sorry (actually glad) to say I do Eddie. I became hooked on Nord (first the Electro, then the Stage). The B-3 and EP emulations are top-notch (including a killer Leslie sim), and with the Stage you also get a very good synth engine. The newest Electros and Stages will also load samples. Like PG Music, a company that stands out with the quality and value of their products.

I have wanted once since I started watching Live From Daryl's House and Eliot Lewis plays one.
There is one store in my area that carries Nord. All of them say "We can order it". Well, dumbledork, so can I order it!!! They seem to think I'd spend all that money without playing it??
One guy I know has the Electro 2 and I am pretty much waiting for him to move to the 3 so I can try and work a deal for his 2.
Do they have a Leslie simulator that you control with a foot switch because Eliot has what looks like a normal sustain pedal on the keyboard that he keeps hitting and that has to be something along those lines. The sound he has on that show is amazing. Greg here plays mostly piano in the band I see him in and it really is a great sounding board. Can't wait to get rich and famous and own one.
And get some track up on Sound Cloud with that beautiful Nord!!!
