That's correct; only the MIDI output driver moves to the top. The MIDI input driver(s) just stay as they are listed. That has been the case as long as I can remember and in PowerTracks as well. However, as RHarv said, the top output driver is the default driver for all tracks; however, to select alternate MIDI outputs, you have to highlight them to be able to select them from the Mixer screen.
