Ciao A tutti!
Mi chiamo marco e sono un trombettista, studente di musica Jazz. Spero di poter fornire aiuto a chi lo chieda, benché io utilizzi BB solo da una decina di mesi.
Parto senza indugi con la domanda: è possibile usare Band In a Box su un netbook, cioè uno di quei computerini piccoli, che in teoria servirebbero solo per navigare su internet?
I processori di questi computer sono ovviamente scadenti, ma mi attira l'idea di avere a portata di mano BB, in tutti i sensi.

Ciao Marco e Benvenuto,
diciamo subito che è sicuramente possibile, ma se vogliamo essere pignoli dobbiamo inserire tutta una serie di ma e di se.
I processori hanno la loro importanza ma essa pesa di più o di meno in funzione di altri parametri, tra cui:
RAM (in primo luogo), Scheda audio (o Codec laddove non esiste una scheda fisica ma virtuale, come generalmente nei Netbook), Hard disk (se ad esempio utilizzi una versione di Band-in-a-Box distribuita da PG Music in Hard disk esterno, direi che sei già in vantaggio).
E' da considerare importante anche se l'utilizzo del programma si basa principalmente su suoni midi (in questo caso hai la necessità di plugins adeguati), oppure se utilizzi esclusivamente RealTracks.
L'hanno scorso ho installato ed utilizzato BiaB sull'Acer AO751H (ha funzionato sia con Plugins per i suoni Midi, che con le Real Tracks e sempre senza batter ciglio).
Forse l'ideale, se possiedi già una versione del programma, potrebbe essere di provare a installarlo, è un software ad invasione zero sui file di sistema, disinstallandolo è quasi impossibile generare problemi.

Confermo, anch'io l'ho installato sullo stesso ACERino A0751h, su windows XP, e per me che uso i suoni midi con Coyote Forte DX, funzionava senza problemi.

Confermo anch'io: installato con l'opzione 3 nella versione 2010 da hd esterno, funziona perfettamente, sia per quanto riguarda il midi sia le RT.
