Checked with most recent build, definate issue. May not be same as yours.

I highlited a mono audio track (track 7),
enabled punch-in, then selected 'use from-thru' from main toolbar (is this what you missed Russ?)
Also, you have to check the 'enable' box (we didn't used to have to do that a few versions back)

Then hit record, it recorded the punched in section .... on track 7 &8!!

8 was not highlited (contains data) and I was on a mono track (7). Gonna see if the 'input for mono track' issue is coming into play. It should NOT overwrite the existing data on track 8. It should write anything new to available blank track.

OK, I had 'input for mono tracks' set to L&R. Changing it to only Left it worked correctly.
If set to L&R, and recording onto an existing mono track I don't think RB should assume that I want to record over the next track too.
If there is data on the next track I feel RB should not overwrite it, but instead put it on next available blank track. in this scenario..
Thoughts?
