OK maybe I didn't quite catch all the info or it wasn't mentioned.When I did my punch in it was to an EMPTY mono track.It then moved the next one down. IF I punch in a couple measures of a track with data then it overwrites the adjacent track and doesn't move down. The latter behavior is what I would expect though. You should never punch in to a mono track from a stereo source.A little odd though that if that mono track is devoid of data it'll move the adjacent track down. Not sure what I think of this.If I disable punch in and just plain record to that empty track that's mono with a stereo source it erases the adjacent track.
