Are you sure you have Realdrums enabled? Sounds like a Midi issue. Preferences Drum Kit will show you how your Midi drums are mapped. I don't know how it relates to RDs though.
Also, can you play RT's? If not, maybe it is an audio issue with your soundcard. I lost all audio within BIAB once. Audio outside worked fine. I had to do a Restore. I use Vista.
