Hi Dave, I've come across this a few times over the years and sometimes it's been minor, sometimes diminished and sometimes half-diminished. These days, I look at the notes and work out what the arranger is wanting. http://tamingthesaxophone.com/jazz-chord-symbols.htmlThe above link might help. I notice in this link, it's a minor-major-7th chord (e.g. CmM7). Hope this helps, Noel
