Hi RB folks...I have a problem.

Go figure, like instead, I would write here to share a recipie or something...LOL

With my head hanging low...the palm of my one hand supporting it from hitting the desktop...I am witnessing RB take my BB crafted song and slaying (more specifically) the Soloist track.

Here's the deal (in short I hope):

I have a really, really cool Blues shuffle going on in BB. Within, I chose to generate a sax solo for the whole piece, however, with the crafty use of bar settings, I chose to MUTE the soloist track every 12 bars...so I can jump in my with own phrases.

There's a 4 beat drum intro, followed by a 4 bar intro, where I have the sax guy (real track btw) come in about the 3rd beat of bar 4...as a bit of a pick up...to carry on for the first 12 bars.

All is well, BB does an OUTSTANDING JOB...everything sound great.

I save this puppy.

Close it.

Open the file in RB.

Then, voila, the Soloist track is mysteriously offset by like ~3 bars...and moreover, even if the track was adjusted chronolocially, the directed phrasing (~mute/normal/mute etc/as prescribed in the bar markers in BB throughout the song) is truncated...and does not follow through...as it does in BB.

I am perplexed, as I thought going from BB to RB was transparent...that is, RB getting all the data from the BB song and simply regurgitating it in its own platform.

If anyone can help me decode this, that would be GREAT!

Thanks all,
Eric
