In the break-room at work yesterday, I was perusing the User Showcase forum. Because I was at a public computer, I didn't log in.
I noticed at the bottom of the reading page there was a drop down I hadn't seen before, "Show". It allowed me to change the number of post that appeared. Normally the User showcase only goes back three months or so. Using this drop box I was able to read posts from last year ad back! I was liking it!.
yet when I got home and sat my fat butt at my computer chair the dropdown didn't work. Oh yeah it's still there, but it doesn't do nothin.
So I tried a little experiment. I log out. Ba-da bing! It works again. Only problem is I'm logged out so I can't reply to any posts. Quandary.
Why is it that lowly unregistered users can do this and us highfalutin registered users can't?
