You got it partly right. The PGMusic products have the "Audio Chord Wizard (ACW)", which is pretty good (depending on the source material) at getting the chords and underlying bass tone from an audio file; however, it won't give you notation for either a melody nor (especially) polyphonic harmony. You'd still have to do the note-for-note transcription yourself.

There are some programs that "help" you do that (such as Transcribe!), but you still have to do a lot of work yourself.
