Someone wrote a 'song', or, a set of lyrics to a song, or a poem, or something. The problem is, I don't know who wrote it, and no one else can tell me. I've modified the lyrics somewhat, and written music for it.
I can copyright the music, how much, if at all, can you change something like the lyrics, and then call it your own, at least for copyright purposes?
At some point in the future, I am going to be looking for help with this song, a singer, and maybe a 'group' project like we did with Amazing Grace a few years ago.
Input is appreciated.

I'm blessed watching God do what He does best. I've had a few rough years, and I'm still not back to where I want to be, but I'm on the way and things are looking far better now than what they were!
