If I have a melody in the melody track, can the Melodist compose a chord progression based on that?
Because that is what I thought it did.
But what I am getting when I set the Melodist to "Generate Chords" (with a melody in the Melody track) is that it generates a whole chord progression, but it is unrelated to the melody.
I also tried converting the Melody track melody to an audio file, deleted the MIDI from the melody track, and then did "Generate Chords", but same thing happens.
