Nope, that's the way it does it. It's been on the wish list for some time to better display certain chords, but we haven't seen resolution yet; still, you should visit the wish list and add your two-cents worth.

In RB (and BIAB), a sus4 chord is displayed as just "sus", and that's also pretty common in a lot of notation I've seen - the 4 is implied. However, BIAB doesn't really have a "sus2", and the "2" designation is really an "add9" chord. The difference of course is that the sus chord replaces the "3" with either a 2 or 4 (depending on the one you want), whereas an add9 keeps the 3 there.

A similar, but different request has also been with a "dim" chord. RB (and BIAB) always interpret "dim" as "dim7", so you can't just get the "dim" triad. It would be nice if we could differentiate, because you often want just the triad without the 7th.
