Hi John,

I haven't yet checked out the bass clef issue but I wanted to let you know that I find entering triplets in Piano Roll view is the best way to do it. Often the notation doesn't correctly show triplets as it depends on a couple of settings. Using Piano Roll mode, though, I can ALWAYS get the triplets to play correctly whether or not the notation shows them printed correctly.

To enter triplets ....
  • Click on the "Snap" and "Dur" boxes (as shown in the image below) and set them to 1/4-note(3) - also as shown.



  • The above settings will snap the notes to 1/4-note triplet timing and give each note a duration of a 1/4-note triplet.
  • If you wanted 1/16-note triplets, simply select the 1/16th note with the "3" beside it.
  • Use cntrl+shift to activate the pencil that will allow you to write the notes onto the grid.

Here is what I obtained when I performed the above.
