The hostel where I work uses 4 PCs and two servers - the system runs on Windows 2000 Pro, and works very well. I do as much of the maintenance in-house as possible
The drives in those PCs have been spinning 24/7 for about 7 years, and I asked permission to clone each one so we'd have a plug-and-play solution - complete with licensed operating system and reservation software - when the old drives take a powder. Management thought it sounded a bit risky, and deep-sixed the idea.
Last week one of the PCs refused to boot up - drive fried - so we paid for a new computer, new Windows7 operating system, and installation of the reservation software.

We could have saved a lot of time, trouble, and expense with Clonezilla and some new back-up drives...
