I went through the rounds of 'freeware' as well as 'comes with the hard drive' cloning software last year when I had a drive that ended up with some bad sectors. The only software I found that would soldier through the bad sectors while making a clone was EASUS' disc copy software. Then their free partitioning sofwtare worked a treat as I was cloning a 60GB drive up to a 250 GB drive. http://www.easeus.com/disk-copy/http://www.partition-tool.com/ Use the home versions of both products for hassle free 1-2 punch. No, I don't work for them, but these worked much better than the bundled acronis that came with the seagate drive. That version would not copy through the bad sectors. -Scott
