I just think the maschine is one of those innovative things that comes along every now and then and sparks the creative interest of a generation. In this case, it probably won't be OUR generation... but it definitely has appeal to many young people I've talked to.
seems to be a hybrid of a lot of interesting musical concepts that can be controlled in real time. It has elements of a looper, a synth, a drum pad, a keyboard, a hard disk recorder and more
If Fruity Loops existed as a piece of hardware, it might be a lot like the MASCHINE
It may turn out to be a flash in the pan, but as of this moment I'm thinking probably not.
