I do think you need an associated CC for a place that wants instant payment. I don't think it is the 'instant payment' part that a lot of sites use this for. It's because it does establish a CC and line of credit. Not too hard to open a checking account for a few days, write some checks and close it out before the big checks come in. The CC establishes a lot of contact info with a payment record. I think *that* is what they actually want in an instant.
You'll probably have to associate a card #. Here we have one card # that is for online purchases. That's all its used for. Makes it easier to keep an eye on.
