I should mention that, much to Mackie/Loud's credit, they offered to replace the disks. I supplied them with a copy of my receipt for $20 from Musician's Friend and figured, well, that's the last I'll hear of that. Last week I got an e-mail from Tom at Mackie saying sorry for the wait, we had to hunt them down, but the new disks were on the way. They just came in. Faith restored, all well with world, etc.
