Dear Sirs,
I'd submit you this "music theory bug" that it is not allowed (at all I'd add!) in such great program as BIAB, especially if it is used to teach as well (as in my case) or to print sheets to read for playing.
So shortly, if I'm entering chords in C#min key (= 4 sharps in the key) and I type G#7 and I need the third on bass (B#), IT IS NOT POSSIBLE AT ALL that (1) BB does not allow me to enter neither B#, so I need to enter C (!!) and the result chord is G#7/C (!?!), a total "music theory disaster" and not educational huge mistake!!
CORRECT NOTATION MUST BE G#7/B#, simply, of course.
Please, you are really invited to fix this "music theory bug" in BB. Thanks.

It's a problem that has been discussed over the years. B# and E# are not happening. You can probably find a lot of old threads wishing for this. Hopefully it will happen. We can rationalize by saying that the BIAB notation program is a bare bones program, not as sophisticated as programs dedicated to notation. Later, Ray

Thanks for the reply. I do understand, and it can be any reason as you (tried) to explain, it will be anyway a mistake for other most conservative musicians/teachers that don't accept at all this your explanation/resolution and won't use BIAB. It's not my problem ... maybe yours ...

I don't have a problem with the BIAB notation program. My primary use of BIAB is for practice and accompaniment. There are too many good notation programs out there to gripe about BIAB's. As stated on BIAB's home page, the program is for auto-accompaniment, not for notation. Later, Ray

I meant problem is for BIAB staff (PG MUsic) ... I also have different solution for notation, but I cannot accept some kind of terrible theory not-educational mistakes, today year 2011!!!
