Hello i find the biab on the market and was very happy  But for the moment impossible to download any songs on my Galaxy S phone with BIAB android (i'm not talking about BB remote) the connecting on the biab seems fine but..updating style... always the same errors : unable to download audio files ( when the mp4 was created) and if it it a .mgu files unable to download the files the files seems to be download incorrectly, because i can see the chart but the files can play, because generating operation always crash at 90% (the file is red in the directory) . I 've tried many times and always the same errors, even after "reset program" two times in the android device and reinstalling the program in BB2GO Have i miss something, or is the biab android a beta version

Read the news release carefully,
"Important: You need to have version 2011.5 or higher of Band-in-a-Box for Windows to use this App."

here the android market instruction
"You need to also have Band-in-a-Box 2011 for Windows to use this program".
Not 2011.5
Or ??
ps it is not the android remote ; it is BIAB android

Don't know for sure, could have been something lost in translation. Important: You need to have version 2011.5 or higher of Band-in-a-Box for Windows to use the program at all.

Thanks for your answer
but you must be wrong ; there's two applications on the market
-the first was : the biab for android (the one i talk about)
- the second : the remote control for biab (the one catherine is talking about)
only the second one need 2011.5
i'm not talking about BB remote !! i hope you understand me.

Sorry to hear that you are having that problem. What type of Android phone do you have, and what OS version? We've tested/developed mainly on HTC, Motorola and Samsung.

Which OS version? It's possible that the c:\bb\bbhelper\BandinaBoxServer.exe program is being blocked by Windows Firewall, or an anti-virus program. That would explain the symptoms, where a file is not able to be sent.
Also, does the c:\bb\bbhelper\outputs folder contain any files. That's a temp folder that contains the files as they are being sent.

i complete my answer (to late) OS 2.2.1
i have made bbserver.exe safe in my firewall (comodo) and in my antivirus (avast)
the outputs folder is empty but i have closed the android application and the server . Should be something still here after closing ??

i have tried to send something again and see .. but the folder always empty ; what does it mean

you are the winner Peter after your answer i have make the whole application trusted in my firewall (before i only answer trusted application when the firewall ask me for what to do about bbserver.exe) and after waiting 5 minutes the song is here and is playing right !!!!!!!! Hourra !!!!  i will begin to play with this new feature !! one more question about the volume panning , are they working ? i've tried regenerate after making change but nothing happens ?? the big deal will be now to see if i can download realtracks as well and remove the drums or the bass ... this should be great and last (but not least ) is there a big complete post for this application BIAB android ? Thanks again and have a nice day

my joy was short i try with another song with realtracks and now again the "unable download audio files" something must be wrong but where ? PS the solution was to delete the XRender.mp4 in BB2GO and to download the file again ... and it was the realtraks that plays on my device android ..fine the beast a little hard to ride but it comes ...
