rharv, i was being facetious! i spent 30 years in importing electronic components and offshore sub-contracting for several brand names that you would recognize immediately. at that time it was a too-little-too-late effort to keep some of them alive. unfortunately, few of them survived. i felt like i was committing subtle treason when i "caused" job losses among people i counted as close friends.
