On BIAB 1010, I type c6 at end of song with 3 dots after chord. It plays a cmaj7 instead. If I leave off the 3 dots, it plays a c6. What could be happening? Thanks for any help. occ

There was a simliar question recently. First you need to differentiate between MIDI versus Real Tracks. In midi waht is played is as much determined by the style as it is the chords. Lots of variatons can and will occur in the program's efforts to fully simulate a real backing band. Keep in mind these midi notes are editable with the new Freeze funtions. For Real Tracks it is only the chord and what licks are avaiable to play over the chord - not really any editing available in BIAB for Real Tracks besides regenerating and hoping to hit a better sounds and then Freezing.

Fundamentally, this is the single most difficult thing for many newbees to BIAB to understand (appreciate may be a better word). Especially, musicians who have a specific sound they want to hear and then only want to hear that sound. For these folks you have to be willing to move from BIAB at some point into either RB or a DAW to better customize the notes.

But you already knew all this...
