My lead oncologist is a head and neck cancer specialist/surgeon.

On complaining about my voice today he said that if I kept my vocal cords hydrated by small sips of water I might keep my voice longer.

He said that they were sorry that the treatments left me disabled, but that I was in the rare company of a few stage 4 cancer survivors, and that I should plan on not coming back. I was confused after some 160 doctors visits in 1.5 years, and he told me that there is nothing wrong, and no need to come back.

I do still have a pain management team at the cancer clinic due to the neuropathy and neck like a tree trunk that burnt, but ok.

My voice is a little better every month.

And I have my 'people' working on the hearing issues. My son dropped by today and he tells me at noon the alarm clock is going off. Had been all morning for some reason. I can't hear it. If I touch it, I can feel it LOL.

Maybe I'll sleep on it. Sleep is really good when it works. (:
