There's an easy way to do just that. Go to the chord view window and click on the bar you want. As I recall, that moves the cursor to the begining of that measure. Then go back to the track view. The only thing I can't remeber is whether the track view jumps to that location. If it doesn't you'd need to find the cursor. I'm sure there's a way to do that.

This also works for highlighting sections. Go to the chord window. Highlight the bars you want. Go back to the track view and the bars should be highlighted.
