Nice song, nice and melodious. On listening to both exhibit A and exhibit B there are common elements in both, which is hardly surprising considering the simplicity and the fact that common musical templates (realtracks) were used. When everybody is using the same handfull of chords, overlaps are inevitable, realtracks just magnify this. In my opinion both songs were nice, but neither worth the effort of deliberately copying.

Funny you should mention that Rob. I was already working on my version of "Winds Of Change" (with a different title and lyrics, of course).

Call it "Dollars and Change", and when you hit it big, you can mention me as a big inspiration when you were just a hopeful forum dude!

Ah come on Sinbad, i though both the songs were the next "Crazy" or "He Stopped Lovin' Her Today"

Could be Rob, but I've never heard of them.

Hi Bob,

"The funny thing is that I wrote and recorded this song in about an hour, knowing it was not commercial, but just another exercise with BIAB."

Not sure why you would think this. I think this is a cracking little song. Might not be a top ten single - although I'm not sure of that either - but I could easily see this on an artists album!!

I really like this song and the laid back vocal suits it so well.

Good luck with it.

Martin
