IMO. the banjo sounds great. This is a dixieland band, and the banjo is rhythm section. There are 2 variations, a simpler one (mostly 4 in the bar), and a razz-a-matazz one with more inventive stuff. The player's timing is great, I haven't a clue what you are referring to. If you could provide some type of example, preferably a BB song with a frozen banjo track, posted to support@pgmusic.com, that would be a big help. Here's an example of both variants of the banjo, in 'a' section playing normally, and in 'b' section using the razz-a-matazz.
