looking at the main page where it discusses new features. On one page it says:
We’ve added VST synth support for each track, so you can have multiple synths playing on your songs. You can also use VST Audio Plug-ins (reverb, delay etc.) on each track.
further down on the same page it says:
There are two types of tracks:
MIDI tracks, which have 4 slots. The first slot can take a synthesizer (e.g. Coyote GM, Garritan Aria, and HyperCanvas) the other 3 can take audio effects (e.g. reverb, compression etc.)
Audio tracks (RealTracks, Loops, or the Audio Track) which Tracks have 4 slots. There is no synthesizer slot, so they have 4 for audio effects (e.g. Reverb, compression, AmpliTube Amp simulation).
Does this mean I can have different vst synths on different tracks like in major DAWS or ar we still limited to one vst at a time? What exactly does this mean?

Yes you can have a different synth for each track.

Hi,
I've only just started to play around with mine.
I've got
Coyote WT on Bass
Forte DXI on Piano
Cakewalk TTS1 on Guitar,
so yep, different soft synths on each of those midi tracks. Brilliant.
Looks like I may not have to use my virtual midi cable & brainspawn forte any longer to be able to use a mix vsti's & dxi's.
(haven't tried my Garriton or Kontakt yet) early days for me.

If a VST i or fx on one tracks adds latency, do all the tracks automatically sync up?
Some of my plugins have fixed latency - say 5ms, or 11ms, while others vary based on how much I have them do.

I ran sampletank on bass, tts on piano&strings, real track drum, string studio guitar synth. It was in sync and no dropouts. It would really be hard to give a correct answer becuase of your system performance as well as every vsti synth and plugins out there in different combinations. That's my thought on it.
