Thanks for your concern. All is well where I am but Kinglake, where many tragedies have occurred, is not that far away from me (30 or 40 mins drive away). I'm keeping an eye on the northern horizon. It still doesn't seem real that all this is happening, and so quickly too. The Australian bush is very flammable.
