Hi,
RealTracks you have assigned to the Soloist track are saved with your song in the same way that RealTracks assigned to other tracks are. The track needs to be regenerated when you open the MGU, because an MGU doesn't store audio (wave) data.
In RealBand, you would save your song as an .SEQ file and that file would contain everything exactly the same as when you generated the song before saving it. SEQ files contain both MIDI and audio data, so they can be very large.
