Sorry, John, but I'm not buying it. Windows used to run on 16-bit computers; before that, 8-bit....

Technology moves on. That's just the case. Sooner or later, there will be a 64-bit BIAB; sooner or later, Windows, Mac, and Linux will move beyond 32-bit chips.

I'm not against any version of BIAB -- obviously I'm running a 32-bit version on my 64-bit Win7 system right now -- but I'm definitely on the side of at least pointing out that This Cannot Last Forever. And, given how very many programs already are 64-bit, I don't think it's out of line to speculate as to when this one will follow suit, or to advocate it.

Heck, I'm hoping that eventually we're all running a 24-bit .wav Audiophile edition. Not seeing it happening for a few years, though.
