Well .... maybe there will be more thought and enthusiasm for 64 bit support on the 2013 upgrade by those wonderful developers.
The software now has grown so over the years and I personally find 32 bit too much of a limitation when using multiple vst instruments.
So, with the utmost respect may I resurrect this suggestion?

Well, I don't have any problem running mutiple VSTs. But I don't even try in BIAB.
Several years ago I bought one of the new i7 desktop workstations with Win 7 64bit. However, at that time BIAB do not support all the VST plugs so while I continued to include BIAB in my overall workflow, much of the heavy hauling is done over in Reaper - which by the way is 64 bit. So i guess that is my workaround for now. 
Would it be cool to have BIAB/RB move to 64 bit, well of course, but is it needed? Not so sure of that. It is a good question for dicussion especially now with the VST support provided by BIAB/RB. How does RB handle multiple plugins?

Not sure what you meant by your question, but RB runs tons of plugins at once using either 32 or 64 bit, and single or multi-core processor.
20 - 30 plugins at a time is not uncommon for some projects here.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
