I find that RB is the place to be when working with midi files containing multiple instruments. Some time ago, I got an SD2 because of the nice sound it generates. Since then all the new updates each year relate to real tracks/styles. Although I admit that these have some nice sounds, I still like to work with midi--especially to edit notation. Are we to assume that midi is now playing 2nd fiddle to real tracks and that there will be no further midi development by PG Music?
