I contacted IKMultimedia to see if the version of Amplitube that came packaged with BIAB 2012 was eligible for one of the special upgrade or crossgrade prices. Apparently there *IS* a reduced price available to us as a crossgrade: $225 for the whole shebang! (list price is $349) That buys 160 pieces of gear modelled from the real vintage equipment used on all the songs we grew up listening to! http://www.ikmultimedia.com/amplitube/features/If you bought all 160 pieces of gear from the custom shop, the total price would be around $2,000, I think it's a TON of capability for a reasonable crossgrade price. From now on no more recording wet signals that you can't change without re-recording the passage! Just record it dry and then experiment with Amplitube until you find exactly the right mix of amps, effects and settings!
