What he's after is being able to audition the effects of VST plugins, e.g., Amplitube, on tracks in BIAB, and then be able to click a Bypass button (say, in the Plugin screen of the Mixer) to turn off the effects.

He could then, for instance, use Drag-and-Drop to get a rendered version of the track without the plugin effects into another DAW, without having to uninstall the plugins. Even better, to my mind, would be the additional option to right-click on each plugin, so they could be bypassed individually as well.

I'd very much like this myself, as I'm already using the VSTs in BIAB exactly this way.
