Bill Evans. I wonder how much the drugs affected some of his stuff at the end of the day. It seems when you dig, more and more stuff was influenced by stuff other than the 'legal' drugs of the day. Not to mention the water of life.

I think you get odd time sigs from that stuff.

I'm going to have another listen. Someone told me a bunch of sets were played with tuned drum kits. As a legally deaf person now, I'm interested in stuff like that, for I hear anything below middle C really well. To the point that my car's transmission, well I can hear all the gears changing, well it's just odd.

When I was 55 I guess my hearing was normal. Now I hear weird stuff in the bass end of things. I can hear the car doors shut and know which is ours and when my wife comes home. Now that's plain weird. My dog was a border collie (had him for 16 years) and he always knew. Ha.
