Ok still digging around and getting to know BIAB....and it looks like i'm going to need the ASIO driver to be able to use the amplitube and other goodies in the 2012 BIAB..
seen Rharv mention in one of the other threads you can pick-up a driver from ASIO4ALL site....
went to it and downloaded but my computer gave me a thread alarm....is this site safe?
and if not....where can i get this driver from?

No you don't need ASIO.

silvertones....how do i access amplitube without asio....i'm not able to get to it
right now....what am i missing?

In the mixer window of BIAB click on the plugins tab. Then you assign amplitube to whatever inst. you want. Remember though if it's a midi part ( yellow) you put a VSTi/DXi in the first plugin spot. That's your synth for the part. Then in the second slot you put AT3 that's your effects for the synth. If it's a RT then AT3 will go in the first slot as the effects for the RT.

we went to texas road house and had steak...celebrating our 10 wedding anniversary
the place is awesome...willie nelson is tied to texas road house restaurants some kind of way...either owns them...or part owner

Ok...i messed up someplace...i installed the ASIO driver and now my music only plays through the regular speakers....won't play through head phones...aaarrrrg

ok i took asio out the equation and went back with MME for the driver....and it plays in my headphones now...
