Hi Sam,

If this was my problem, the first thing I'd try is to see if it's the User Account Control (UAC) that's causing you grief. Below is some information on UAC from the PG Music FAQ page.

http://www.pgmusic.com/techfaq23.htm#100

In Control Panel, there's an option called User Accounts. Go into that and turn the UAC off. Then start BIAB and see if you can close it. If all works well with UAC deactivated, that allows the problem to be isolated.

In the meantime, a some questions that spring to mind are ...

1. How are you running BIAB (e.g. from the internal hard drive, external USB drive, etc.)?

2. What external equipment do you have hooked up to BIAB?

3. If you're running BIAB from the internal hard drive, what folder do you have it installed in?

Regards,
Noel

Thanks for the suggestions, Noel.

Running from internal HD,C:\BB folder, computer is MIDIed to Casio Privia keyboard and sound card (M-Audio Delta 20/40). This is my home setup, not my studio setup.

I did not see an option to turn UAC off, only to change name and reset password. Suggestions?
