Many songs have either an opening riff or one throughout the song that sets it apart from other songs, so when you hear it, you know the song it is. (such as Pretty Woman,) If I want to create that, is there a method of doing so within BB, or should I put it into RB, and just keep generating until I find one, and then copy and paste it within the song to create that memorable riff? The Real Tracks are real good, but sometimes generic in nature. I'm sure if I just keep generating, something will appear sooner or later that might have a memorable sound to it that would make the song sound more. . . . . you know what I mean, stick in your mind to identify it with the song.

I'd just keep on generating/re-generating until I get the riff I want and then copy and paste. If needed, I'd play around with shifting the pitch up/down to transpose it to the different sections I paste it into.
Something I discovered...
When generating solos, it can be useful to compile multiple generations. For example, instead of generating a 4-bar riff, you might get a better effect by generating a 3-bar riff first and then a 1-bar riff at the end of it, or maybe 2-bars and 2-bars, or even 1-bar and 3-bars. In RealBand and with RealTracks, you can even generate parts of a bar (e.g. 1.5 bars followed by 2.5 bars).
Lastly, if you are using the Soloist Or Melodist in BIAB to generate riffs, you can always modify the generated notes. I have often generated a section that is "close" to something that sounds like what I want; I then edit those notes - change timings, add notes, removes notes, change pitch, etc. - until I obtain something that pleases me.
