This is a topic that's regularly discussed in these forums. 256 bars is BIAB's limit. Realband, however, does not have this limit. Thus, if you want to create/arrange a long song, Realband is the place to go. BIAB styles, Realtracks, etc., all work in Realband.
In the meantime, you might want to add this to the wishlist forum. PG Music watch that forum and often develop aspects of the program from users' requests.
