First, let me say that I love this new style set but particularly the _DIXIELD Dixieland Rhythm Section, which is my kind of Dixieland.

There is a problem for me in using this style: It says it is for a 'Fast Rhythm Section' but the tempo is only 165. I can tell you that most fast Dixieland tunes are more in the range of say 180 up to 240. I am not sure how far you are supposed to stretch the nominated tempo. It does sound great at 180 but keeps crashing. It may be the pianist who is overworked.

Is the problem caused by stretching the tempo up too far? At 180, this particular style keeps freezing and the screen pales over. The only way you can get out is by 'X' exiting the program and you lose everything you have entered.

I have mentioned previously that we seem to be short of RealStyles that cater for the fast tempos used in all styles of jazz. In the Jazz 'Classic' RealStyles, from which I thought most other RealStyles are derived, there are only the Gypsy Jazz Fast Rhythms at 250, one Bebop Trio at 190 and a Samba at 190. Are faster tempos a problem for RealStyles?

Nothwithstanding, I am indeed 'having fun' with my new Audiophile 2012.
