Just a little tip for you from your Ol' Uncle Eddie here. The 2 red lines on a miter saw that say "DON'T EVER PUT YOUR HANDS BETWEEN THESE 2 RED LINES" include you. As much as I SWEAR there was a line on page 14 of the manual that said "We don't mean YOU Eddie".....

Held a piece of wood on the table with my hand, pulled down on the blade, 9 stitches later I learned my lesson.




I know it can happen however I was a self employed builder, and had no employees, for 25 years so I do know all the pitfalls. I always had more professional tools. I don't need that now. I have one project I need to make. A small wooden container for my wife's ashes. She's really PO that I still have her in a plastic box.
