For YEARS I have been a buyer of BIAB, but they broke the golden rule on this one.If it ain't broke, don't fix it. When I load a created song in BIAB 12 and don't use RealDrums I can hear the count in loud and clear, but when I do use RealDrums I can't hear the count in at all? What can I do to enable the count in to be heard when using RealDrums?

If you haven't already, go to <Opt-Pref-CountIn/Met>, and check or uncheck what options you need. I've had no issues with the count-in for RTs. Currently I'm using only the visual count-in. Later, Ray

Options - Preferences - Count-in/Met should find teh appropriate options there. Right? Nothing has changed here in 2012 that I am aware of? Heck you have a couple of us jumping here

You guys don't get it.The count in works fine when you DON'T use Real Drums, loud and clear, but when I do it is shuts off. The BIAB programmers did this by the real drums audio sound file overiding the count in.

No, I think we DO get it and it works for us. Me at least. I use nothing but Real Drums and every tune plays the count-off just fine. It's a configuration issue most likely.

I use only Real Drums and I can get the audible count-in whenever I wish. Evidently you don't have your count-in prefs checked off properly. Later, Ray

The midi is not working only the audio/RealDrums and RealInstruments.
Load an all midi style.
Then when there are instruments you don't hear figure out what midi device you are going to use.
You have the count in choice of midi instruments.
Perhaps someone creative here can figure out how to use a plug in to make it sound like something weird...very cool idea John. (Takes a nap)

There are no changes in this with 2012.
Perhaps you aren't hearing real drums at all, and your audio driver isnt working.
Try a return to factory settings menu options return to factory, and then start with an MME driver.
