John Conley Veteran Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 8,333 London, Ontario, Canada	I think my Roland Jv1010 beats the VSC, but probably the sounds are quite similar. I think the Ketron SD2 I have might beat them both easily in most categories. And my Roland W50 that I played for years worked well as a hardware synth. Now my Korg synth has some great sounds, but I use the synth to play along, and RealTracks and RealDrums, which make a great auto accompanyment solution. Midi playback is ok for a track or two in some cases, but to my now deaf ears, RealTracks provided by www.pgmusic.com exceed the ability of midi to make good, real backing tracks in most cases.
